A leisurely walk through the snow

For a natural energy boost in winter, why not take a walk on the valley trail, which is located right by Hotel Weisseespitze and is cleared daily. A sun-kissed circular trail leads from the hamlet of Platz to Feichten and finally to the Grasse district, up and down gentle slopes and past the hamlets in these valley communities. No snowshoes required!

THE PRETTIEST SNOWSHOE TOUR IN THE NATURE PARK

If you don’t mind driving a short distance by car, you will be rewarded by a wealth of pure and idylllic views from the Kaunergrat. One of the most romantic snowshoe hikes in the region starts on the nature park building’s car park, which offers the legendary “Gachen Blick” view of the Inntal. The tour leads past traditional hayricks that grace the snowy meadows and through peaceful pine woods, and snowshoe hikers will soon find themselves discovering a scenic winter wonderland – often without another soul in sight. Here and there, animal tracks reveal secret paths to the wild, visible to attentive hikers. A glance in the distance reveals the high summits of the Ötz Valley alps, rising in the background.
